Bishop Richard Chartres on the Chapel Royal and the Reformation
On Tuesday 04 February 2020 Bishop Richard Chartres - Baron Chartres, GCVO, ChStJ, PC, FSA, former Bishop of London and former Dean of the Chapels Royal - gave a lecture on the Chapel Royal and the Reformation. His talk touched on many aspects of his topic but emphasised in particular the strong influence on the Church of England as a whole of the liturgical and music practices adopted and endorsed by the Chapel Royal.
